IRIS Unwrapped 2025: The people, platform and hotels driving record growth

IRIS highlights its biggest wins of the year as it empowers hotels to digitise and enhance their guest journeys

As 2025 draws to a close, IRIS is celebrating a landmark year defined by innovation, expansion and deepening partnerships across the global hospitality industry. From record-breaking digital ordering volumes to new platform enhancements and award wins, the year has underscored IRIS’s growing role as the technology partner of choice for leading hotels worldwide.

Mobile ordering surges 42% as IRIS surpasses $250M in annual transactions

Guest demand for seamless digital experiences has never been stronger - and IRIS clients have been quick to respond. In 2025, mobile orders processed through the IRIS platform increased 42% year-on-year, helping hotels capture more revenue and orders while optimising operations.

Across its client base, IRIS now facilitates over $250 million in annual transactions, reflecting both rising guest adoption and the strength of the company’s product enhancements.

Boosting average guest spend by 20%

With a strong focus on revenue-driving innovation, IRIS introduced new ordering features designed to elevate conversion and optimise upsell opportunities. Enhancements including related items in cart, new allergen filters, and Advance Ordering have helped hoteliers increase average guest spend by around 20%.

These features empower guests with flexibility and clarity while giving hotels powerful tools to surface relevant, high-value menu items at key purchase moments.

Diversifying digital ordering: the rise of grocery and amenity pre-orders

2025 saw a notable shift in guest behaviour, with IRIS data showing increased adoption of amenity and grocery ordering - enabling guests to pre-order toiletries, groceries, and in-room essentials ahead of or during their stay.

This trend is driving incremental, pre-arrival revenue for hotels, with IRIS recording its largest grocery order to date at nearly $500. The momentum underscores a growing appetite for personalised, convenient, on-demand services - and IRIS’s ability to power them at scale.

Strengthening integrations and platform-agnostic capability

IRIS further expanded its ecosystem of best-in-class partners this year, adding Alliants, Toast POS, Jazzware, and Travel Curious to its roster of integrations.

These partnerships reinforce IRIS’s global appeal and platform-agnostic flexibility, enabling hotels to connect their preferred systems and deliver smooth, unified digital experiences for guests.

Welcoming leading hotel groups to the IRIS family

A host of prestigious hotel groups joined IRIS in 2025, adopting digital ordering to enhance guest engagement and unlock new revenue streams across their portfolios.

Notable new partnerships include The Ned, Soho House, L+R Resorts, The Galt House, Landmark London and Marc & Rose, each of whom have worked closely with IRIS this year to scale mobile ordering, streamline operations, and elevate service across properties. This is in addition to growing their presence across existing client groups and management companies such as Ennismore, Marriott, Four Seasons, HEI Hotels, White Lodging and Mandarin Oriental.
