Bringing more than two decades of hospitality technology experience, Bob joins IRIS to help drive product innovation and deliver solutions that empower hotels to enhance the guest dining experience while improving operational efficiency.
In his new role, Bob will be responsible for driving product initiatives and delivering impactful solutions through agile methodologies, market planning, and in-depth market research. Working closely with hoteliers and internal teams, he will help shape the continued evolution of the IRIS platform to ensure it meets the changing needs of hospitality operators and their guests.
“During my career, I have gained experience in all areas of hospitality, progressing from the kitchen to the role of General Manager. Driven by a strong interest in technology, I transitioned into the tech sector, where I have spent the past 25 years serving as Director of Projects, Director of Payments, and Product Manager, with a focus on POS, PMS and interfacing systems.

Bob brings a unique perspective to the role, combining hands-on hospitality experience with extensive expertise in hotel technology. Over the course of his career, he has worked across all areas of hotel operations before transitioning into hospitality technology.
For the past 25 years, Bob has held senior positions including Director of Projects, Director of Payments and Product Manager, specialising in point-of-sale (POS), property management systems (PMS) and hotel technology integrations. His experience working with leading hospitality vendors provides valuable insight into how mobile technology can solve real operational challenges for hotels.
With the hospitality industry continuing to embrace digital solutions to enhance guest experiences and optimise operations, Bob’s appointment further strengthens IRIS’s product leadership as the company continues to innovate and expand its global footprint.
